Experience
Jack Harris is an expert on proposal strategy and preparation. Since 1974 his career has been a combination of
consulting, business development, and program management in the technology
industry. He now concentrates on producing oral proposals and
other high-stakes presentations for technology-based companies.
In the last seven years, he has helped client teams plan and prepare
over 200 oral proposals, scripting more than 600 speakers and
helping to train more than 1,000. He also leads entire proposal
efforts, serves on Red Teams and planning groups, and ghostwrites speeches,
journal articles, and other reputation-making documents for his
clients.
As a Corporate VP for SAIC, and Executive VP of The Harris Group,
he managed high-visibility programs and organizations, and led every
corporate staff function, from finance to public relations. He was
instrumental in selling several controversial technology programs to
Congress and the public -- missiles, aircraft, and space programs.
Before entering the private sector, Jack was a political-military expert in the Intelligence
Community and an Avionics Officer
in the Air Force.
