Barbara Harris is a successful
business executive, community leader, and dynamic public speaker.
Since 1996 she has led CPC - The Harrises, a consulting firm specializing in marketing communications
for business clients. She coaches client teams to deliver oral proposals,
marketing presentations, and expert testimony. The teams she coaches
enjoy an extraordinary win rate.
Before launching CPC, Barbara led a company of several dozen
consultants who helped
industry and federal agencies secure congressional support
for high-technology programs such as the Peacekeeper missile, B-2
bomber, International Space Station,
Project Galileo, and Ballistic Missile Defense.
Her success as an entrepreneur was recognized in several ways: named three years in a row by Washington Technology as one of the fastest growing companies in the Mid-Atlantic states, named annually by Washington Business Journal as one of the largest woman-owned businesses in the DC metro
area, honored by Fairfax County's Commission on Women for her "Outstanding Commitment
to Women in Business," and inducted into her hometown's Hall of Fame. She is listed in Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who of
Women Executives.
